Modern Wooden Villa Architecture

Having a home with lovely surrounding landscape is certainly to be the desire of all people. Moreover, if the architectural design of the house also can compensate for the beauty of the environment around it. This is seen in the architecture of a modern wooden house villa following. Located in the middle of the beautiful and leafy trees. House architecture made using transparent glass almost all over the house, replacing the usual transparent glass wall so that everyone in the house can enjoy the beautiful scenery outside. As a result, the house looks so beautiful, luxurious, and integrates with nature.

“The project is located on the northern shore of Lake Villarrica, in southern Chile. The 8.000 sqm (86,111 sqft) site has a moderate slope towards the lake and most of it is covered with native forest. Many of these trees are very large and have great natural value.

The requirements demanded are bedrooms for the client's family and for guests, common areas and services for the entire group. Clients want priority to the conservation of forests and large trees over other attributes of the sites, such as the view of the lake and the volcano Villarrica. The layout of the house to adjust the position of the tree, avoid cutting important specimen, allowing each interior space to connect with the forest environment. The trick is to design a group of rooms in the "wings". In this way, each wing can be moved and rotated independently to avoid the trees.

The designer proposed four wings, each with views and access to a variety of places. Family bedrooms look towards the lake and has access to a small flat courtyard between the house and the beach. The guest bedroom wing visible in the woods and hills in the northern part of the site. These wings can be opened or closed and heated independently from the rest of the house. Common wing area is one large room, transparent, with views of the lake and forest, and open to the exterior deck. It contains a kitchen, dining room, living room and TV room. The service wing is surrounded by forests and accommodating laundry, kitchen and bedroom service. Fourth wings arranged to form a wide X. Volume connecting all wings work as an entry and distribution hall.

Some of the tallest trees of the site formed a line standing between the house and the beach. Thus, the proposed main rooms with a frontal view of the lake, but looking through the trunks of these trees, cutting only a few species of shrubs, clearing the display under the foliage.

Being surrounded by large trees and have an interesting view to the south, there is not much natural light available for interior spaces. With the intention of having a bright interior rooms, the majority of the southern façade is covered with a window that receives indirect light from the south and open up the view to the lake. Also, the roof is placed at different levels, forming the top window that allows direct light from the north to enter all the rooms. Finally, all of the interior walls are covered with light-colored wooden board, contributing to the inner brightness, check the ideas..
