Simple minimalist design L-shaped form is the basic concept of this contemporary residential home designed by the architect Swat Miers. Located in Silicon Valley, California, the homeowner wants a dwelling house which has a strong connection between the indoor and the outdoor area. So the designer makes a dwelling house with a simple building design L-shaped consisting of two side wings.
On the east side, there is a kitchen and living room on the ground floor and the children bedrooms on upstairs. Southside section comprises an office, media room, and guest rooms are located on ground floor and the master bedroom on upstairs. To connect the two sides of the building there is a living room and a large dining room that is bright as it gets direct sunlight from the north and south. Enjoy the photos!
